Google Adsense is the most famous ad network and the number one choice for the most publishers.
Before applying you need to make sure that your website has some traffic and it exists for a couple of months. Threre are two steps before getting accepted.
In the first step you use your Google account to sign up and then you enter your website info,your info-credentials in the application (as you see on the following pics). After your application is checked,you will be messaged about the next step.
The
second step requires to add ad codes in your website,but these ad codes
will not be shown yet. At this step Google will check your content,your
traffic etc and this procedure can take up to one-two weeks. If you get
another message from Google saying that you are accepted,then you made
it!
First you need to select "My Ads" from he top menu and then "Ad units" and "New ad unit" like you see below.
Then you put a name for the ad unit,select size-type-ad style etc and in the end you click save and get code. The only thing that is left is to copy the code you see there and paste it in your website.
Google Adsense is very strict about content so you need to make sure that you follow the guidelines. Something else i would like to add,after reading many conversations about this online,is that Google Adsense also considers bikini or sexy pictures as adult content.
Personal Opinion:
Due to the limitations in the content i didnt tried for too long,however some friends did and still do and they say they are happy.
